Hi all!
Well, it's about time that I started my own blog... Before I get too old to even write! (Joke!)
Anyway, I am indeed getting a bit too old for birthdays... Well, at 6 years old, that makes me 42 years young in dog years! Never mind. It's never too late to teach an old dog new tricks!
OK, so there was no Barbecue for me, as Daddy reckoned he didn't have enough money to feed half the neighborhood for free this time. Not to worry though. As promised, Daddy did make some time to spare with his dogs today - and that was enough for me!
Both me an Meimei got a special washing-down with some rather fragrant-smelling dog shampoo. The food was not over-the-top - but I did notice some rather tasty morsels of tuna chunks in mine!
In the evening, Daddy took me and Meimei for a long walk and we ended-up in the local store, where some young lads made a lot of fuss of us. Especially me, as they knew it was my birthday! We even got three pieces of chicken necks each, which was a real treat as we only usually get two...
And Daddy forced himself to stay off his computer long enough to give us a good roam-around on our extended leads whilst he puffed-away on one of his home-made cigars when we got back to the nippa hut, right by where we live.
Now we are both exhausted and sleeping peacefully in the sitting room, as Daddy does me the honors of typing this-up for me.
